the weekend before valentine's day, ella and i went to virginia to see some of my family. ella got to play with two of her cousins--sophie and chloe, who ella calls, collectively, chlofie--and she got to play in her first real snowfall, including riding a sled. she was sick with a cold but she had a grand time and so did i.
