meet me in st. louis

it is very last minute but we are going to st. louis today!  rudi has a meeting, ella and will go to the gateway arch.  she is going to cross the mississippi river for the first time!

rudi and i have only been in st. louis twice, once on the way to denver and once on the way back.  we only had time to stop for a bite to eat and a chance to stand under the arch (that's where the picture above came from).  i'm super excited!  ella thinks she wants to go up the arch, but we'll see how that goes once she sees how tall it really is.

so there won't be a curriculum post today--i'll double up for you tomorrow.
