Sorry, but the picture of the ticket booth reminded me....
I don't know what stage Ella is in her reading, but if you were looking for something to read with/to her, there is a fabulous book called the Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It was always one of my favourites as a kid and is a great "imagination" book. Since Ella is so very good at imagining, it might be fun to have her set up her own Phantom Tollbooth during/after you read the story. She could pay tolls and make change, etc as part of her homeschooling activities.

victoria, thank you for the suggestion! i looked up this book at our library and put it on my request list. knowing ella, she will find her own interpretation of how to live out this story. :D
